I fished the rock cliff area today. Drilled a lot of holes from 10 to 29fow. Didn’t mark many fish, but the ones I did were mostly ready to play. Caught some rainbows that were any where from 4-10’ under the ice. Also,a decent brown and a perch off the bottom. Slush wasn’t too bad and probably averaged around 6” ice. Open water started around the buoy line.

Thanks for the report. Looks like we are going to switch lakes tomorrow. Could you tell me what you were catching them on?

The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

How was the access? I heard they piled snow in front of the ramp. And there is a foot of snow all the way out?

The ramp and beyond was plowded. If you can get down the ramp, very icy. The walk is not bad just be ready for 300 to 400 yards to ice. 8 inch
Of slush and snow.
