Got out for a couple of hours in the afternoon. More to try out my new lower unit than fish, but we did throw some lures for a bit. Started out up towards the dam with some jerk baits and lipless cranks. Nothing but the breeze was a little cool. hit some pockets out of the wind that were a little more comfortable. Nothing. Headed over near Chester Frost. My wife got a nice catfish on a rattle trap. She was excited. Tried a DT-6 for a bit and decided to call it a day. Boat ran well, thanks to Tom at Fish-N-Fun, was able to cast with no shoulder pain and enjoyed the day.
