We went to Otter Creek a week ago. I'm kind of late getting this out there.
The lake is way down. Up North is hardly any water. Most guys are fishing the South end in about 10 to 15 feet of water. We caught fish from 3 ft to 14 feet. All over the place. Caught some nice big rainbows. We iced about 9 nice ones and let many smaller ones go. Wax worms worked great on white, yellow, orange and pink bugs.
The fish were picky and not real aggressive. If the stars were aligned perfectly we would have caught a lot of fish. We had so many on the screen that would not bite.
Very fun time. First time down there.
Warning: The roads were very very muddy. Once they thawed out around noon it was dicey. You must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle I think.
