Provo Harbor conditions 2/14/19
#1
For those who want to ice fish at Utah Lake State Park or are looking forward to clear water for catfish, walleye, white bass, etc.:

"Utah Lake [Provo Harbor]

Water Temp: 32 degrees

Water Level: The lake is 57.53% full. -4.25 Depth to Comp.(FT)
[Water level dropped below 50% earlier, so it's good to see that it is coming up.]

Ice Thickness: There is open water in the Marina, and Ice is dangerous.

Ice is Never 100% Safe! — Do not judge ice safety on thickness alone. Ice does not form or maintain a uniform thickness. Snow, wind, slush, temperature, and other factors can cause ice thickness and strength to vary greatly, even within inches. Recreate on ice at your own risk and verify ice thickness as you head out."

We still have a lot of cold weather ahead so it is advised to check the conditions frequently if you're planning to head here.

The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

Nice to see we are getting some of the water back. I hope we can make up that 4’ but that is a lot to make up. With the new boati hope you plan on a trip or two to the island!
