Well we didn't get to prefish and that showed up for sure in the first tournament to start new season. For starters not having water where we have been catching fish doesn't help either. First four stops not a bite , finally get to fifth place and Stephen gets one on first cast a big fish, and it pulls off. Then we catch two keepers back to back . That was it there. Go to next place catch three finally got a limit. After that we lose three good fish and catch one drum. Finished sixth place with just under seven pounds. Just wasn't our day we had them on and just couldn't get them in boat but that's fishing. Ones caught were on trap and silver buddy . Congrats to Mike and Jeff on good bag, and to all who finished in money. Told Stephen now we got to buckle down and fish Mike and Jeff are off to a great start and we will have to do better to keep up. Thanks to tournament committee for putting these tournament s on . See you all at nickajack probably at Sullivan's for next one cause River Park will still be under water.
