So I loaded up 3 boys and my boat hit Lincoln Beach today around 2. We got everything loaded and to say my apprehension level was high is putting it mildly. I just bought this boat and haven’t seen it run yet. It had been winterized so it took a minute to get it to turn over but once it did it ran beautifully. It took some getting used to but it rode real nice and cruised along at 33 mph according to gauges which they all seem to work well. We fished in the BS for about an hour and a half and didn’t catch anything. We cruised around for a few more minutes to get used to steering and gears and shifting and then brought it in and we’re on the road by 4:15 it wasn’t a real serious fishing trip more of a boating trip to see how she is. She will work out for 3 boys and me or 2 other adults and me. Not a super big vessel but big enough.

I tried Lincoln Beach today also. Beautiful day to be fishing. But a bad day for catching. I got the smell of SKUNK all over me! Oh well. Guess now is as good a time as any. Hopefully the last for a while. Met up with BLT and Catrak at the launch. Always nice to chat with them. Looks like Lynn put 1 on the board for the South team. I must have just missed you today day. I left around 1:50. Looking forward to seeing your new ride. Tight Lines.

I'm sorry I missed you. I was going to go out this afternoon but I took my wife to a movie instead. We should get together soon. I'm glad to hear that all is well with your new boat.

I don’t know where I missed you at but it was close. Sorry you didn’t fair well fishing it was tough. We got a couple bumps but nothing stuck. I’m just glad my boat runs lol. It was cold blooded trying to get fuel back in the lines. It took a bit to start it but once it started the first time it purred. I’m sure we’ll meet up one day.

Hope your movie was good, fishing wasn’t but we didn’t try very hard. Real intent was getting boat out and run it. We picked up another skunk which stinks but one day they’ll start taking off. I got to figure out the orchards and BS. So I have more than just the island to go to.
