Hoping to hit Red Creek Reservoir early next week. If anyone has ventured up there lately, what are road conditions? Adequate ice on the lake?
Driving 1 ton 4x4 GMC with truck camper.
Thanks in advance!

I bet there is too much snow for anything other than a snowmobile.

Thanks, Kent! Guess I'll hit Panguitch, maybe Otter Creek instead

There is no ice on Otter Creek if that is the type of fishing your looking for.
Good luck!

Yeah, thanks gofish - I read the reports today. I was hoping to pull a few tigers through the ice at Red Creek, but I'll take a long pole along!

I didn't realize there are two Red Creek Reservoirs in Utah. I was talking about the one by Fruitland. Ignore what I wrote.

With the recent storms and amount of snow this year I'd guess it stands for Paragonah as well

This was on the DWR fishing report today for Paragonah.
Access is difficult. There are large snow drifts stopping trucks and ATVs, with bare patches of dirt in between making it hard for snowmobiles to get through. Starting Jan 1, the trout limit has been reduced to four – same as the statewide limit. The tiger trout stocked after the fire have survived very well, however, so feel free to take a limit to help cut down on competition and improve growth. (03-22-19)

The road to Paragonah would be a muddy mess this time of year. I'm sure people are trying to bust through the drifts to get there.
