Echo surveillance 4-1... and wet a line..

Wife and I did our surveillance loop ride up to Rockport for a look, then on to Echo for a look and try....at R.P. we just stopped by the dam, and lots of open water there, good 150' out from shore...3 groups shore fishing from the rocks along the dam edge.....then on to Echo we went, lots of deer, and way too many dead deer near, and heading out of the Echo area...what a shame....easy access down the boat ramp, and open water is at least 50 to 100', shore to ice....we sat 3 to 4, probably worst time, and did have 1 real bite, on power bait....that was it....tried nite crawler, 3 different power baits, and salmon eggs....just bad timing.....Now would be a great time for smaller craft; tubes, canoe, kayak....3 other groups shore fishing between boat ramp and the dam....Guluk....
