Utah Lake...super stuff
#1
[#0000FF]Back on March 28th there was a seminar put on by DWR and the Utah Blue Ribbon Council...about Utah Lake and the fishing opportunities. In addition to some great stuff on access locations there were presentations on fishing for white bass, walleyes and catfish...along with some updates on carp and northern pike.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Video was shot of the presentations. It will be available on Utube when they finish the editing. And I will post the link as soon as it is up. In the meantime, Chris Crockett of DWR has provided me with the info pages used in some of the presentations and gave me permission to post it here on the board. Lots of great material. Here are the PDF files for your light reading and entertainment.

Good info. Thanks. I, for one, have really enjoyed the DWR seminars and appreciate the effort they go to to put them on

Thanks for providing the "light reading" material. A lot of those pictures have a familiar air about them!

Thank you for sharing. If you can share the walleye hotspots that would be great. LOL

[#0000FF]Sorry, no maps showing all the walleye swimming around. Google Earth is a great source for maps but they just don't have the technology for showing fish. Might be nice to hook up Google Earth with some of our modern sonar systems. Hmmmmm?[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Best I can do is post a freebie chapter on Utah Lake Walleyes. That does have some maps and suggestions. But it's up to you to check them out and develop your own knowledge base.

[#0000FF]When the video is available, you will see my humble self holding forth on catfish. I had about 30 minutes and included over 100 pics, maps and how-to stuff. I could have done the same with walleye but they had a lady tangler who fishes pro tournaments doing the walleye thing. She also works at Sportsmans. A good presentation but not enough fish porn.[/#0000FF]
