I was trying to decide whether or not to go yesterday but after looking at the weather report I couldn't help myself. Put in at Soddy and fished from 7:00am til 4:30. Caught 23 with 3 more that came unbuttoned somehow and 1 that broke off. All but 4 came on Shakey head in 8-15 feet of water. Very few fish ultra shallow for me. This year has been so different than years in the past for me. I can't get a fish on spinner bait and I usually kill them with spinnerbait from early April- mid May. I also haven't been able to catch anything on a jig which is unusual.
