Jig hook
#1
[Image: 40-20.gif]Which way do you rig a jig hook? I thread the grub on so the hook is out the bottom with the curve of the tail up. I do it this way so the tail won’t get stuck on the hook when retrieving it. My friend’s father in law is an old bass tournament guy he says’s to rig it the other way. What are your comments?

Good question I have often wondered the same thing and I do it both ways.

I have known people to catch fish hooking curly tails both ways. I personally likt to hook the curly tail so that the hook point is up and the tail curves down.

I think the best way is whatever catches fish. if it works don't fix it.
