Was up there Sunday and there was a couple of coves on the Soldier Creek side that had the depth to try some ice off fishing. Not so much on the Strawberry side.

Looks there was enough ice pulled back for KSL Outdoors to do a show....

reports on different forums slowly trickling in of water opening up and fishies on the prowl. I think next week ought to be the good one

Headed up either way tomorrow. Is there anywhere to put a boat on (Soldier Creek)? It looked like it was high 60s and pretty windy up there so I’m guessing it did some work on the ice. Otherwise shore it is. Just more fun to get the boat out.

Is the road open to the marina on SC?

Yes. They have cut through the drifts all of the way in but be careful some of them were kind of narrow.

Was up there again today and if people want to fish ice off they had better hurry.

Most of the shoreline has fishable water now and with the way the ice is s looking the storm coming might blow off the rest before next weekend.

As mentioned before the Soldier Creek side is open and ready to be fished.

Like trolling,

At least you drive to go fishing now will be a whole lot shorter. [Wink]

It was good to meet up with you again the other day.
