After spending the last three weeks on Chickamauga beating my head against a wall I changed venues last Thursday and fished Suck Creek. The Spots are on fire. 20 + fish Thursday with majority keepers and numerous 2 lb+ fish. Two largemouths and the rest spots. Took a buddy back today and we caught a dozen or so each between 1:00 and 5:00. Again, mostly 1 - 2 lbs size with Charlie losing the big fish of the day right at the boat.

The trick seemed to be T-rigged Z-Man 2.75" worms flipping Heavy heavy cover. If you weren't getting hung up you weren't fishing heavy enough cover.

I've struggled on Chickamauga this spring with several "skunk" trips. Just can't seem to find them. Now at least I know I can still catch fish emoLaugh

Jim
