Mantua Fishing Access

I am wanting to take my kid for some blue gills this weekend on the back side of Mantua. Can we access the lake from the north east parking lot now or is the whole thing still closed because of the pipe line construction? Thanks for the help!

I was there on the 26th and parked in the northeast lot. There was a sign saying it was closed but the road is open and the lot was full. I was after bass and caught a few. I did not see any gills near the trees yet but with warmer weather coming that might change fast. Good luck if you go.
