“Use it as a management tool. If they have too much rough fish in a body of water or whatever it is they’re trying to manage, they can introduce tiger musky’s because they won’t reproduce and they can control whatever it is they’re trying to control. For me, it’s an awesome opportunity as a sportsman to have that apex predator in the body of water because that's my favorite thing to fish for. Because they’re big and mean and toothy.”

Anyone know what fish they are trying to control?

In some cases they'll use muskie to control a certain species of fish but with Jordanelle I think it was more of a change in the management plan. They want muskie in there so people can catch muskie.

Supposedly the muskie will eat a bunch of the smaller bass an allow the remaining bass to get larger. Perch will also be on the menu since they don't get very big in Jordanelle and aren't targeted by many anglers. The DWR began stocking kokanee at the same time they introduced tiger muskie (about 3 years ago) which will provide yet another food source for the predators and more variety for anglers.

IMHO, the best way to increase the size of bass in J is to increase the size minimum
for keeping bass.
Remember these?
