CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 55 degrees; 909'
Largemouth are good in 5'-14' along transitional banklines using a watermelon/red Snap Back lizards (www.canyonlakefishing.com); crawfish Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) and Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com).
Upriver, bass are moving out of deeper holes along bluffs and toward flats along channel turns \where white/char. 7/16 oz. Terminator tungsten spinnerbaits (www.canyonlakefishing.com)and crawfish colored Craw Tubes
are good choices.
Smallmouth are very good on flat lake points and along bluffs on chartreuse 7/16 oz. Terminator tungsten spinnerbaits, chartreuse Craw Tubes and rootbeer Hula Grubs. Split shot rigging a watermelon Craw Baby (www.slidingweight.com) or Devil's Tongue on drop shot rigs
is productive over rock piles in deeper water.
Stripers are fair in 40'-60' burning whiteHyper Striper (www.kgenterprise.com)jigs or vertically jigging 1/2 oz. silver Pirk Minnows.
White Bass are good 30' along sloping points vertically jigging 1/2 oz. Pirk Minnows, Spoiler Shads and Tiny Traps.
Crappie are slow in 40' in open water.

**Guadalupe Tailrace Trout Report** Trout are very good to 18" using ant pattern flys on 2 lb. tippets attached to those little fair wands in the 2-4 weight class, but other fishermen are doing just a well or better using tackle like 1/32 oz. Scent Vent In-Line spinners, piunk Berkley trout
bait & eggs.
