Soldier Creek 7/5-7/6
#1
I was up at Soldier Creek on Friday and Saturday. We fished Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Caught/kept 6 Kokanee & 1 rainbow. All at 37-39 ft with the exception of the smallest which we picked up at 29 feet in the narrows. Water temp showed 53 degrees at 40 ft. Used pink squids with pink & moonjelly dodgers. We also caught about 30 cutthroat that all went back. We couldn't keep those off of a long line (100 ft back) of willow leaves & a pink criplure, no weight, with a planer board out the side. We enjoyed a few doubles. It was a great day on the water with family.

Welcome to the site!

Sure sounds you had a great holiday weekend with the family for sure!

And catching those cuts just keeps you active in between the kokanee bites [Wink] (good practice) and at least you weren't too dismayed!
