We enjoyed some time on the water in the Flaming gorge area for the 4th of July. We went up with some friends whose kids had never had much luck fishing. By the end of the trip all of my kids were on the tubing boat because they get to fish all of the time and my friends kids were all on my boat wanting to catch more fish. Their youngest absolutely loves fishing and by the end of the trip he managed to catch 5 species of fish. Rainbow, Koke, Lake Trout, Brown and a small mouth. He was on cloud nine!
With that said, fishing was a little slower that in weeks past. Most fish were caught on a green dodger and pink squid 35-45 feet deep
