Gator, Chickamauga, Bass, 07/15/2019, Larry
#1
I met Larry at HBSP about 6:30 and we were in the water by 7:00. I saw a young man with his new boat trying to put in by himself and so I gave him a hand. His first boat.<br />We fished water that was fairly shallow and I only got a few bites and lost one at the boat about 2 lbs. Larry however did catch 3 and one was 5 lbs. I used a baby brush hog most of the day and he used a magnum trick worm all day. Water temp was in the 80's as I recall but the weather was picture perfect with lots of clouds most all morning. We left about 12:30 when it heated up. Just not my day for the bass I guess. It's always nice to be out on the water though. By the way, does anybody know the purpose of those things floating with a flag on top near the Nuke plant?
