[#800000]Pay attention, because I’m only going to say this once. Since none of you work for the Utah Parks & Recreation Department and are just guessing at the definition of ‘Day Use’, I sent an email to them and asked the source. Here is what I asked followed by the reply.[/#800000]
I can find nothing in the Utah Code that specifically defines what the term 'Day-Use' means as it applies to entrance into a Utah State Park. Can you tell me what governing documentation/code defines this term?

The pass is good for the hours the park is open. Most of the park’s hours are 6AM to 10 PM. For times out of the normal park hours you will need to contact the park manager. Please go to our web site stateparks.utah.gov and click on the park choice it will give the park manage name and phone number.
[#800000]So, if you are in the park during a period of other than when their gates are open (normally the gates will be closed between 10 PM and 6 AM), then you are at the mercy of the Park Rangers decision as to whether or not you are camping and need to pay the camping fee. You may find one or two that will let you stay in your truck in the launch parking lot without paying the camping fee, but I wouldn't bet on that happening.[/#800000]
