For all my friends not on FB. Avery dropped the hammer on a very respectful bear Sunday. He passed on 15 before taking this one. I think he made a good call.

Congrats to Avery. Did you bait it in? If so, was he in a tree stand or a ground blind when he took the bear? I've been thinking about giving that a try in Idaho next year. I've had a bunch of scrape meat left over from when I butchered my last deer and thought maybe I could use it at a bait station for a bear.
