Thanks Amy for the heads up, I didn't see this until it was too late, but I was working and couldn't have watched anyway... But in the future I'd like to watch these... Anyway you could put out a heads up a little bit further ahead? Thanks Jeff

Hi Jeff — This was the last fishing-related Wildlife Board meeting of 2019, but you can still go ahead and watch the meeting at your convenience. Once the meeting ends, the YouTube video will still be available online at following link:

Thanks Amy,
I assume these meetings don't allow audience participation anyway do they? It's mostly for the board members to work issues with the technical team, not to hear comments from the public. Or is this one of the reach out and hear what the public is interested in meetings? Thanks again for the responses... Jeff

The Wildlife Board meetings are open to the public, as are the five Regional Advisory Council (RAC) meetings that happen before the board meeting. Here's the 2019 schedule for meetings:
https://wildlife.utah.gov/public_meeting...hedule.pdf

The 2020 meeting schedule was just approved today, and will soon be posted on this page:
https://wildlife.utah.gov/agendas-materi...nutes.html

All of the meetings are open to the public to provide input on action items. (Two of today's fishing-related items were informational only — not action items.)

The Wildlife Board will be voting on proposed changes to Utah's fishing regulations at around this time next fall. As we approach those meetings next fall, we will send out a news release and share posts about the proposals and meetings via our social media channels. Hope this helps!
