East Canyon report, Oct 05, 2019—Got to the boat ramp at about 13:00 (1 p m) after putting the boat in, the wind started up, so we headed for the shore lines, the fishing was O K on the east side, we decided to go to the South end, the wind had calmed a bit in the south area, we trolled the west end of East Canyon and South back and forth, By about 18:00 (6 p m ) we had caught over 30 fish, we only kept 3 big ones, most of the fish were about 6-8 inches, the bigger ones we keep was about 12-14 inches, Trolling speed of 3.6 GPS, I used lead core line, out about 140 feet, on one poll and the other poll, was out about 180 feet, using split lures resembling rainbow trout, we also jigged but had little success gigging, best catch was trolling using lures. Took some pics, going up to East Canyon again tomorrow unless there is some better places to fish, let me know. Thanks..[fishin]
