Thousands of Carp! UL catfishing
#1
This past August my son and I went fishing outside of Provo Harbor over by Powell Slough. We ran into a school of thousands and thousand of mature carp. The carp were all swimming in pods of 3 or more carp. Were were trolling slowly, dragging baits for catfish.

Has anybody seen anything like that at this time of the year. I have seen it in early April before. Very strange.

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/3eTgL81OrQ8

We tried out my new trot line and caught 4 really nice cats on our rods.

Yep, saw that out to the north of the Provo State Park along close to the brush line back on 21 Sept.
Didn't get any photos of it cuz we were too busy catching Cats [Wink] But the carp would come up almost within net reach of the boat, just under the surface.
