[#800000]The weather was great; little or no wind, severe clear, and comfortable air temperatures. The wedge dock is still in place on the ramp, but the courtesy docks were pulled a couple weeks ago.

[#800000]Arrived about 9:15 AM and were catching fish immediately. The first fish came on the first line in the water before we could connect it to the DR clip. The second came before we could get the tird line in the water. And it was none stop action until we quit at 2:30 when we had a limit of keepers.[/#800000]
[#800000]We caught 37 total. They came mostly from a depth between 5 feet and 10 feet down. We also caught a couple at 30 feet down. Trolling speed was between 1.5 and 1.7 mph. Lures used were billed hoochies (cotton candy) and Apex (clear/pink) behind dodgers.[/#800000]

[#800000]Forgot to bring maggots and used some yellow shoepeg corn (Pautzke) - ran out of that after 4 fish - and switched to yellow crappie nibbles.[/#800000]
[#800000]These are the keepers. The smallest are 14" and the largest was 17.5". Life is good.

Nice report and pics Bob, sounds like some of the local lakes are producing. From the sounds of it, I'm guessing you did not try jigging for perch?

I've always liked Rockport during spring when ice off first occurs. There is nonstop action for bows & browns. Have caught browns up to at least 5lbs.

[#800000]I've caught browns in several Utah lakes; never caught one in Rockport. Caught 3 this year in Echo; one through the ice.
