Yankee Meadow - Worth it?

I have family down in the Parowan area that wants me to come visit and they are trying to tell me about some fishing spots down there (they don't fish).
They mentioned Yankee Meadow.
I've looked it up.
Can anyone tell me if its worth a try through the ice? Anyone know the current conditions? Do you need a sled to get to the lake?

you will most likely need a sled to get there after today. if you tried yesterday, it was probably muddy.

Is it worth it? Yankee certainly has some very nice brook trout, and some good cutts too. I don't think it sees a ton of ice fishing action, mainly because it requires a sled to get there during the winter. Panguitch is much easier access for most anglers. But I would say that it would be worth it if you have the means to get there.
