Mantua 12/23/2019
#1
My kids and I fished Mantua this morning from about 8am to 10am. We caught 31 total. Mostly Bluegill with perch making up the remaining majority. We did get one rainbow and one bass. My oldest caught 20 using a small white jig with a red piece just above the treble hook (pictured below). The bass was caught on a larger jig head and a chartreuse gulp plastic. The bite was still on but the kids were done.

Ice was around 5-6” thick where we were. Parked on the south side just before all the no parking signs, and walked in a few hundred yards. It wasn’t overly crowded and there were people catching fish all around us. Depth was 14.6’.
