Thinking of making my first ice fishing trip of the year tomorrow up at Echo. Anybody fish it today? How is the ice?

My buddy fished it today. Said there is a good 41/2 inches with a little snow and Ice on top. He caught a few Perch off the bottom. And a few trout in the middle of the column. Tight Lines HH

Drove by about 4pm...South side looked mostly frozen, side by highway still has open water.
People were in front of the park and towards the dam.
Good sized group off the rocks near the dam. looked like they had cleared a skating rink.

Let us know how you do. Taking the family up on Saturday morning. Fished it last Saturday but was not able to find the perch. Did catch some nice bows.Thanks.
