jordanelle

I went to Jordanelle last Friday evening just as the snow storm hit. I fished the hailstone side between the private docks and the baot ramp. I was in probably 30 feet of water. There were two other groups out on the ice. I spoke with one of the groups and it appeared that they were not catching anything. I ended up catching 10-12 perch in the short time that I was there. The wind got to me and I gave up before it got dark. The ice seemed to be o.k. at the edges but it is getting slushy. Also, there were about 2 inches of water on the top of the ice. If you go, make sure that you wear some waterproof boots.
