The tributaries to Whitney are closed during early summer to protect spawning cuts. They are open now. Teaching Cookie a bit more about fly fishing was fun.  Little cuts and tigers in this small tributary were doing their best imitation of Jaws as she tossed them a little elk hair pattern. She would sure get frustrated as they smacked the fly but did not get a hook set. Started setting so hard she was back casting with the poor fish attached. Good times. No video just a photo or two
