Caught this a few weeks ago. 8# test and a tungsten jig.

Yes, caught it in Utah. Took about 25 minutes to land it.

Wow, that is really an impressive bow, thanks for the pic. how large was the drilled hole you pulled it through? My guess would be at least a 10" hole.

No problem getting it out of the hole, just up to the hole.
I bet after a 25 minute fight, it must have been pretty worn out but getting that head into the hole must have taken some doing, is that one of the reasons why it took 25 minutes to land it?

It kept running and taking drag. I was using a new rod and reel and was a little afraid of breaking off after we got our initial look at it.
