I know how much early ice means to some. I worry about it every year.

Lance, I went through the ice at Mantua  about this time last year.  I'm guessing, me and my dog were in the water 20 to 30 minutes.  Needles to say, that ended my ice fishing career. When you think it can't happen to you, it can.
