Strawberry slush?
#1
I was up in the evening blizzard last Saturday night at Chicken Creek.  Great fishing in 17-22' using white jigs tipped with mealworms or cutbait.  They didn't really take the glow jigs for some reason.  Seemed weird to me not to chase those after dark, but they went after the UV white more than anything.
It snowed about 2-3 inches while I was there and was going strong when I left.  No issues getting on or off, but there were some spots where I would posthole because the snow wasn't packed.
Has anyone been up the last couple of days who could give a report if the snow turned to slush?

No slush with the temperatures they are having.

Yesterday there was a little bit of slush right around the inlet at the Ladders and out maybe a hundred yards. Real spotty.  But everywhere else no slush at all.  Even with several holes in a close area, no slush developed (but I left a bit of a cone around each hole just in case to keep water from pooling).
