Had a good morning on the the lake this morning fishing with my son & grandson.  Got on the water at Utah State Park about 7:00 and caught a few just west of the park and then went down to Bird Island and caught some more.  First time this grandson went cat fishing with me and the first cats he has ever caught.  We ended up with 13  in about 5 hours, and probably 6 or 7 bites that didn't hook up. Although we didn't measure, all but 1 were probably in the 24" - 27" range.

His younger brother and dad went with me On July 13 and we caught 22, fishing the same route.We were out about 5 hours that time.  The largest was about 29".  His first time also. Great time.

Wow, nice cat. Thanks for the report. The fishing has been tough up here in Idaho. I need a trip to Bird.
