Thinking about targeting Yellow Perch at Rockport for the first time. Looking for suggestions on a perch rig. Fishing from a boat probably down by the dam! TIA!

We were there last week and found loads of perch right out from the camp ground, in 24 to 34 FOW, on the inlet side of the lake. We went by the dam end of the lake but were not mark many perchy type of marks there. We were just using a drop shot type set up, with the jig just off the bottom or just a plain 1/8 oz jig just off the bottom, tipped with a piece of crawler. Good luck.
