I saw this link on another fishing forum and thought it worthy of posting here as well. It would seem that you just can't fix stupid.

You are spot on Bob, you can’t fix stupid! A couple years ago I saw a boy about 11 years old I would guess wading and trying to catch spawning Kokes with his hands, as his mother sat and watched in the river above Jordanelle. I politely told her that it was illegal and I had seen a conservation officer in the parking lot and he would most likely get an expensive ticket! ( a white lie) but she told him to stop and left.
It surprised me that neither one of them thought that was not a proper thing to do!
Can’t fix stupid for sure!
