East Canyon from the bank
#1
My boat has motor issues so I went up yesterday and tried from the bank. I was there before sun up, 26 degrees and a light wind. Had to wear gloves and a coat. One guy across the bay was there even earlier. I didn't get much action until the sun hit the water then for about half an hour it was good. Once the sun warmed things up the fish moved out of reach. The guy across the bay had a decent stringer of fish. He kept moving around without moving his two poles. I found out once he wound in all of the  poles why he kept on moving. He must have had a couple of invisible friends who needed help with their poles. Kind of explains why he left early once more boats showed up.

He was not breaking the 2 pole rule but just "bending" the proximity rule. I'm sure he had a couple of family members or friends who are licensed but were just a little too far (like 30 miles) away from their poles so he was giving them a hand.
