It froze completely over on 2/1. We are going to try fishing it on Friday morning. Haven't seen anyone out yet. Lots of deep snow along the shorelines, so prepare yourself for a hike unless you have a sled or snow dog. The rockpile has been capped for about 5 days. Everyone's waiting for someone else to be the first one out. But I bet the fishing is rockin'!

Scott, how long has it been frozen off the pumphouse? Think it's any more safe than the rock pile? Are there any fish there this year, or will the lower water levels change that this winter? Thanks Jeff
Oh PS.... How do the pressure ridges look around the rock pile? They were the nasty part of early ice last year...
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!
