Lost Creek Reservoir
#1
My wife and I went for ride to Lost Creek Reservoir today.
It is very full.

The good news is that there’s a dock in at the ramp to tie your boat of to. The bad news is that the dock and tie off cleats are about six inches under the water.

Unfortunate that the dock is submerged, but sure nice to see the reservoir full.

Thanks for the report and pictures.

Lost Creek is a fun place to fish and it will be great when we can gain access to the upper portion of the reservoir.

Dock under water is unfortunate.  I took the liberty of putting in a call to East Canyon to see if there are any plans to reposition the dock so that us old folks don't have to get wet feet to use it.  I'll let you know when I hear back from them.   Big Grin

I wasn't aware that we couldn't always gain access to the upper portion of the reservoir.  Or were you referring to low water loss of access?  I've fished the red line paths on the picture in the past with water much lower than it is now and I have an 18.5 foot ThunderJet boat.  It do get shallow going up the northeast arm, but it's been doable for me in the past. Big Grin

I think he is referring to shore access to the upper end, I believe as part of the future plans for the state park they are going to open up more access along the south east side of the reservoir.

I was referring to road access.  There has been a gate across the road just around the bend from the boat ramp arm of the reservoir.
