Cookie loves fishing in the rain
#1
Information
We had a Pineview and Rockport trip planned this week. Had to try Pineview in the evening early in the week. To keep it short, we could not find a spot to shoulder in on the bank, that we wanted to stay for long, so we abandoned that plan quickly  (But a few panfish said hi around us).

Then we got a call from a old high school chum, who currently lives in Hawaii. He said he would be in town and would we be willing to take him and his grandkids fishing up in the Uintas? His grandkids had never been fishing but my old friend kayak fishes the ocean and has some great adventures.

So we met him up to Whitney. They went up the day before and the fishing was great for the kids. The next day we drove up. It was raining pretty hard so we only fished with him and his grandkids for an hour or so before they headed back. We all caught some more. Then Cookie said lets do a fishing in the rain video - so we did. It was a lot of fun and not nearly as mechanical as our last video - more of our personality and humor shows up.

This is a bit redundant - but since this is a fishing report....Tigers and Rainbows were very willing to chase sliver bling with red dots of most any manufacture make. The grandkids bagged and tagged with worms and PB.

I think the video does a great job of showing off the area in a rain storm - it is B-A-utiful

We will be near Meeks Cabin most of next week for a family reunion. Will get a chance to teach Cookie some more fly fishing.

Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew
