Uintas, Lost Lake 11/26
#1
Made it to Lost Lake at 8:30 am and set up in 12 ft of water.  The ice was 5 inches with a middle soft layer. Fishing was fast for trout until 1 pm or so.  Caught, tiger, rainbow and brook trout.  Nothing over 12 inches.  The fish were not overly picky.  But jigging was more productive than dead sticking.

It was cold but with the sun not too bad.  The mountains looked beautiful with a light coating of snow.  Also no pesky mosquitos or hoards of people.

Sounds like a fun outing. How were the roads? Did you check out Trial Lake?

Roads were clear to Lost Lake.  Didn't go over Bald mountain pass.  The road to Trial is snow packed.  I could see that getting slick with continued traffic.

Sounds like it is still on fire up there. May try one more time this weekend with catchinon/Craig if the road stays open. I would like to get on Trial if possible.
