Echo with Tubedude sorta
#1
Took the student anglers to Echo yesterday evening. Took tubedude too - sorta. Pat donated some of his lures to my students. So I made up some mixed bags and handed them out at the lake. They fished all differnt colors of his marabou jigs that night. Caught a bunch of really nice perch, some crappie and some smallies. They had a blast and loved the lures. Pat they were pretty excited about the lures and fished em hard with great results. It was a special night thanks to your generosity and continued effort to educate us fishermen in our craft.

Link to a video of some pretty happy young lads reeling critters

TubeDude has been a great help to many of us over the years. Glad to see you getting those boys out and giving them a chance to be outdoors and catch some fish. Wish they had classes or clubs like that when I was a kid.

Those are some lucky boys to have you take care of them on fishing trips. I'm sure they really look forward to each trip you take them on. Those bags look like they have a good variety of gear. A 5-star rating to TubeDude for his generous donation and a 5-star rating to you for forming the fishing club and getting them out on fishing trips.

Now THAT is what fishing is all about.  Getting young people into fishing and away from all those other "distractions" they can succumb to.  Glad I was able to contribute to their non-delinquency.  Great video.

When you come down for your fly-tying session I will send you back with a bunch of spinners and other hardware that needs more attention than I am giving it these days.  I think those youngsters will make it feel needed again.  Breaks your heart to hear neglected tackle whimpering on the shelves.

Nicely done, a dawn setting in reverse. I have had similar days like that when once the youngster. I have had tons of work literally as in 7tons of rock weighing me down from a fishing adventure recently and too much other yard work as well. Hoping to have a day next week but a new weather picture is starting to emerge. If I can't make it at least there will be some videos provided to watch & dream a little dream to. Keep them coming Lance!  Big Grin

Thanks all for the comments and feedback. I am fortunate to have students who are serious about fishing and fun to be with. Not bad duty for a CBP to have
