Henry's
#1
Me and Shawn fished Henry's near Staley Springs yesterday. Ice was 4 inches. Fishing was slow. I got 3 cuts, the biggest was just under 3 lbs. Shawn didn't get any. First time ice skunk for him at Henry's.

Thanks for that report Randy, bummer on the skunk for Shawn, bet that doesn't happen very often. Were there many other groups out there fishing? Do you see others having any luck?

I didn't see anybody doing any good. There was quite a few fishing. Shawn is back up there this morning. He is going to try the hatchery. I'm going pheasant hunting.

Friday was a little better at the Hatchery. The ice is 5” with just a couple inches of snow on top. There were three of us and we all caught fish. Mark and I caught three each and the teenager Caden had the hot hand hooking 8 and landing 6. This was their first time ice fishing in Idaho they moved from Michigan to Idaho Falls last summer. And their first trout through the ice ever. What seemed to me to be a tough dues paying day was there best day Ice fishing ever.

I thought that looked like a bow but then I noticed the cutt marking on the gill plate. Back in the day we use to catch fish just like that at Causey.
