I plan on going this weekend. December can be a great time of the year. One year I went to Lincoln Beach and slayed them from the harbor.  One old feller, Kent, had been catching them for a couple of weeks.

I'll keep an eye on the post. Interested in what is happening.

Is there another "...old feller, Kent..." out there somewhere?

Actually it was an old feller named Keith. Here he is in this video showing us how to catch the white bass.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO9kNT7Zvuo

Went today for a couple hours on the Saratoga side. The whole lake is open water. Water is murky. Caught a few white bass and perch but nothing bigger than your hand. Small jigs tipped with perch meat on a slow retrieve.
