Friday the 13th First Ice
#1
Okay so this is the first trip after final inspection, big wooooo hoooo... I had to go... Ice was 2.5", but it held up this fat bob so I did a little jigging, started off with 3 bluegill, one was 8" or so... I missed about 5 or 6 hits to each fish I caught... got to get my reflexes retrained a little better...  Then I pulled in a monster 4" LMB, I think my Kastmaster was almost bigger than the fish...  Then I lucked into two very nice crappie dinner plates, had to be 12" or more... Then it shut down so I went back to setting up shelves and appliances... But a fun morning bite...  not bad for a Friday the thirteenth and I didn't fall through the ice... It did start cracking so I went back a few steps to thicker ice... Later J
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!

Way to go Jeff, good to read you were finally about to get out after your long project, bet it fell good to be down to that final inspection.

Sure did feel good go get out and actually catching something, it's been too long and you're right that final inspection was really good to get behind us... Still going to have a lot of moving in for awhile, but not quite as pressing as things have been... Thanks for the comments.. J
