Finally it is my weekend !!!

Got off work today or should I say last night and made a short trip up to a Grantsville Res. before coming home . Made about 20 casts with a jig and nailed a nice male brown from the icy waters before the sun come up this morning . Looked to be about 4 or 5 pounds . Didn't have a tape measure but got a pic burning in my 35mm camera right now . Got 2 days off now so I hope the rest of the days off give me some more rod bending . Ice did not look safe at all but it is open some on the edges . Just pull jig slowly off the ice and whamo and hold on !! It was landed on one of my homemade jigs on 10# line .Fish went airborne 3 times and was screaming my drag at the same time . Got to love it !! Now I better get some sleep

go out there and get some fishing in, fill your camera up, ans let us all see your fish. sounds like a fun way to catch big fish that are lurking just under the ice.
