Wipers in Willow Pond????
#1
I just gotta ask!!! I don't think it's at all likely but have Wipers been stocked in Willow pond? I heard this the other day from an angler I see they very often but I didn't pay him no mind (this is the same guy who tells me the baby bass I see in the shallows are small rainbows). Yet, today 2 different "regulars" told me the same thing. One even swears he witnessed the fish being planted.

Is this just some crazy rumor floating around? I think so, white bass would have been more believable [Tongue] Does anyone know for a fact?

I think they are probably white bass, I remember reading something about the DWR planting white bass in some of the community ponds. I've seen some white bass that I thought were wipers because they were so big, put who knows anything is possible. WH2

I would believe white bass, since I know for a fact they can be found in bountiful pond. But if white bass were in there with all the shinny spoons being used, and freshly stocked, you would think that at least some would be caught. I haven't seen or heard of anyone catching them yet.
