Humminbird Matrix Fish Finders

I have not used one yet but what an awesome idea! Mark your spot while your on the fish. Do they also allow you to save associated fish finder readings for that area when you mark it? That would be awesome, you could then see historical readings for marked spots.

Nope, no experience with them but they've also got attachments so that you can use the Smartcast sonar with them.

From what I can tell it you can save some 750 way points in the unit. You can hook it up to your hand held gps or get a dedicated gps receiver for about a hundred bucks. Mr. J.
