DaveT<br><br>We have guns down this way and they are regulated and licensed heavily. A couple of years ago they had an amnesty where all unregistered and old guns could be handed in without penalty. Yes, but while your firearms crime rate maybe lower because your government took the best tools for self defense out of the hands of the citizens. According to the international crime rates because of the domestic breakin where the older folk are beaten to death by the thugs your overall crime rate exceeds ours substancually. Actually you are no 1 in the world. Ireland is second and England is third. Seems to be a distinct thread here. Also except for you we are the youngest nation going when you consider that we did not get started until the mid 1600's or so. Yeah Jamestown was in 1608 but the Indians and disease took care of them. They did not last a year so they do not count. Look at all of the murder and killing that was done in merry ol england with knives, swords, and bows. Yep you gotta let us grow at our own rate. Course if we would shut down the drug trade and pushers that would cut down on the violence about 700%. <br> And your olympic shooting team can not train in their own country. Nothing personal or even against your country but I beleive that the overall big picture is that the folks in charge (world leaders) want one world, one set of laws for it, one universal language,spanish, heck they are even starting to teach spanish to kindergardners here. BIG BROTHER IS WATHCING US.<br><br>
