I fished fitz park again (tues.) caught 12 whitebass, 3 trout- 2 rainbows & 1 brown. I really had to fish the main stream pretty hard to catch the trout. Then I decided to try my whitebass hole off the main stream in the stretch of slack water that runs around the park and into the main stream. I caught them pretty much one after the other (casting a worm across the water onto the other side of the bank then letting it drop off the edge). there would usually be a strike right after that but if not then i would get them with a stop & go retrive.Took some whities home for the beer batter and munched out.[cool] With all the luck I've been haveing in the valley latley who needs to travel to fish.
